Cross Country Coaches

David has been coaching for 2 years, with this being his first season as head coach. He has been a regular runner for over 20 years. His family attends Nativity parish where his son, James, is in 4th grade. Coach Megan said 'I treasure this experience and I love seeing the kids have fun, build relationships, and grow,' and he couldn't agree more! James has three younger siblings / future runners, so he looks forward to many years of involvement with this wonderful XC team!

Jerry is our most experienced coach, currently in his 6th year of coaching. He leads the 7th and 8th grade runners, including his son Ford who is an 8th grader at Nativity. Jerry's a Nativity parishioner, ran in college at Georgetown and KU, and his son Crosby is a blazing fast freshman XC runner at Rockhurst after graduating from our XC team last year

Andy has been coaching XC for 4 years, and works with the 5th-8th grade runners. Andy's family are Nativity parishioners and his children attend Blue Valley schools

Megan is in her 2nd year of coaching, and has 2 runners from St. Michael's on the team: Madison (7th grade) and James (4th grade), plus a future runner in 1st grade! Megan ran cross country and track at Baker University. Megan coaches 5th-8th graders

Bill heads up the 3rd and 4th grade runners. He's been coaching for 4 years, and his daughter on the team, Caroline, is a 7th grader at Nativity. Bill ran college cross country and track at Wofford College

Nikki is the newest member of the team, coaching for the 1st time this year. She caught the running bug herself a few years ago and is passing the love of running on to her 2 daughters on the team: Maggie (7th) and Rosie (3rd) and son Johnny (5th).
